A fitting end to a great year - The Indomitable Spirit Division

Merry Christmas!

This is my Christmas offering. I'm happy to bring you tidings of joy and great news to make you all smile and feel good.

PUMA martial arts has had a great year, with many highlights. My biggest highlight of the year has been the introduction of the PUMA indomitable spirit division. We all like to think that we are inclusive and everyone is catered for. However, the reality is often very different. With the introduction of the ID division, we have moved much closer to our goal of total inclusivity. I talk to three PUMA instructors about their involvement in making this happen. We are also joined by some parents of students who have recently taken part in the ID division. They all give a brief insight into how they felt seeing their children compete and the difference it has made to their children.

I want to thank Ms Louise Reeve, Mrs Jenny Swain and Mr Tom Baxter for making this division a reality.

I want to thank you for listening to the Living Martial Arts podcast. I hope to bring you lots more in 2023.
